Hardware & Software Installation

Step 1 — Hardware Installation

Mount the antenna and wire the module

  1. Mount the GNSS antenna module with a clear sky view, away from VTX and motor noise sources.
  2. Route the coax feed to the ANT connector, keeping runs as short as practical.
  3. Wire VCC, GND, and UART to the host flight controller.
Step 2 — Software Installation

Install the configuration utility

  1. Install the NullShield configuration utility for your OS.
  2. Connect via a UART-to-USB adapter.
  3. Confirm the module enumerates and reports its firmware version.
Step 3 — Firmware & Configuration

Select constellations and jamming profile

  1. Select your constellation set: GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and/or BeiDou.
  2. Enable the adaptive jamming-rejection profile appropriate to your mission.
  3. Set PPS timing output mode for host synchronization.
Step 4 — First Power-On & Verification

Verify fix quality before enabling countermeasures

  1. Verify a clear-sky fix (<0.6m CEP) before enabling jamming-rejection mode.
  2. Run the built-in jam-simulation self-test.
  3. Confirm the host flight controller receives a valid NMEA/UBX stream.
